Especially blind tastings! I rate wines on my Gunslingin' Rating System. It's typically shorthand due to the large amount of wine and spirits I try.

Private wine tastings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
South by South Wine is the annual wine festival moving into its 12th year. A Taste of Scotch is the annual Single Malt Tasting of beautiful dram, moving into its 7th year. A Taste of Strange Brew, an annual beer tasting, is moving into its 4th year. Tastings are usually conducted blind.
